We have an immediate full-time opening in prepress/customer service. Join our team and receive a benefits package that includes 2 weeks paid vacation, 7 paid holidays and 3 personal days per year, health insurance. Starting pay is $12.00 per hour depending on experience.
You will be working on a Macintosh G5 workstation with the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, QuarkXPress, Enfocus PitStop and PDF”s. Knowledge of these programs is a must. Web site design will be part of your focus. You will also be doing customer service. Answer phones and helping clients with their orders. You will be using software called PrintSmith to create orders or estimates. You will learn the four steps of order entry. Windows environment is mandatory.
We use up-to-date technology including a web ordering system that allows customers to deliver pdf files to your desktop. We also furnish a print driver to our customer that writes a print ready pdf file from any program on their computer, regardless of platform, and uploads it to us via the Internet. You will prepare online proofs for our customers.
We have been admitted to Certified Printers International – CPrint(tm) - an organization of printers throughout the US and Canada dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to the business print buyer by using innovative technology and continual staff training. We are the only certified printer in Des Moines and one of three in Iowa.
We are looking for a team player that has knowledge of the printing industry, graphics programs, good communication and customer service skills. Immediately, this individual would work in customer service, typesetting and production. This is a great opportunity for the right individual.
